Dear Madame or Sir,

I am a 23 year old American woman who is close to finishing two years of work in Paris, France. I have worked as an Au Pair for two years with a set of twins, aged 6 years. One of the twins has autism and struggles greatly with concentration and speech, both in French and English.

At the end of my time in France I have the desire to continue living life in Europe, but would adore to move to Estonia to continue my time on the European continent. I traveled to Estonia in the summer of 2016 and fell in love with the nature and people that comprised the hidden gem of a country.

While studying at Mary Baldwin University, I gained my Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Art History, and Studio Art with an emphasis in photography and mixed media installation. While studying I also worked for the Virginia School for the Deaf and the Blind as well as, in the summer, running a camp for teenagers with a wide range of disabilities, including autism and Down Syndrome.

I have a wide range of work experience, dominating mostly in child and adolescent care, particularly those who have disabilities. While running the summer day camp, titles Summer Work and Wellness Program, I continued to gain skills in organization, leadership, communication, and creativity. The job demanded that I remain calm in tough situations and always work towards a solution, even if the problem that arose was unexpected. Now working as an Au Pair, I continue to grow in areas that benefit every situation, such as being patient, understanding, and persevering through a tough day with good grace and a smile.

I take all of my current and past work experiences to strive to be a better worker, part of the team, and person. I commit myself to being a strong part of a team and working towards the common achievement, using my innovation, drive, and imagination.
