This course is meant to prepare you for the annual competition that tests your knowledge of the English language and British history and culture. The tasks are completed in teams of two students and comprise four parts:

1. Spelling/word formation + verb tenses (via Socrative)
2. English monarchs (1066-1700), their major achievements, and important events in English history (via Socrative)
3. British food and idioms with food items (via Socrative)
4. British music (the 80s and 90s) and films across history

Duration: 120 minutes

Max. score: 100 points
